Dimanche Rouge /Jessica Hirst

Dimanche Rouge presents an evening of performance art featuring Dominican-based American artist Jessica Hirst at Plateforme Gallery.

In her interactive performance Creative Economy, Jessica Hirst will explore and challenge concepts of the value of money and art as physical objects. Creative Economy intervenes international currency, the bills themselves, transforming them into independently functional objects, such as a sewn cloth, or as art, when they are painted.
